The Nanaimo Men’s Amateur Tournament is held each year on the weekend following BC Day in August. It is a 3-day individual stroke-play tournament played from the Blue tees in 4 flights, with a maximum of 216 competitors. In addition to NGC men members, players come from many other golf clubs on Vancouver Island and BC’s lower mainland. Prizes are awarded for both gross and net winners in each flight.
The entry fee includes 3 rounds of golf, prizes, a BBQ dinner on Thursday, a Salmon BBQ dinner on Friday, a Gala Dinner on Saturday, and lunch from our infamous hamburger stand at the turn each day.

The players of the 2022 tournament will receive an invitation letter & entry form by email by Saturday, April 1st. Priority for 2022 contestants ends May 15, 2023, please ensure your entry form & payment are received before this date!
Sean Krepps, Tournament Chair, is collecting names for the waitlist; to be added, please contact him at nmamateur@nanaimogolfclub.ca. The field is limited to 208 competitors to maintain an enjoyable speed of play and provide a positive golfing experience.
